Hi, Wilson.

Following your useful instructions  I eventually managed to install a copy of PGOffline  on my Windows 7 PC. I copied 1 8 GB of files from my old PC to the new one, but the program did not seem to find them or recognize them.  I managed, however, to download a few thousand messages from various lists with no problems.

BUT

I can see none of them. Nothing is displayed.

I am running  PGOffline 3.8.04. It is installed on my C: Program files (x86) and contains a  sub-file ygroups which contains 10892, 552 thingies in Microsoft Office Access.  What must I do to be able to see them?

Hi Dennis,

Did you try the PGO version 4 beta:

http://www.personalgroupware.com/groupmanager/pg-offline-4-r651-setup.zip

It requires Microsoft Dot Net Framework version 4.

The final release version will autodetect and install this if necessary but for now you will need to install it first:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17718

Development on PGO Version 3 has ceased so it would be best to transition to Version 4 now.

Even in its beta form it has many advantages over V3:

A 17 terabyte database capacity

Much faster downloads

Deals with .tech  groups

Downloads attachments, files & folders

Please let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson,

It seems the program needed a  little time. Today I can see everything. I will check again which version I have and install the one you recommend.

As always - thanks.

Dennis
