Converting to Text or PDF

I would like to convert a large number of messages to text (so that I can edit out trash) before archiving.

I've tried "Show Selection as Digest" but it seems to be limited to about 28 messages or maybe it's limited to number of pages.  Anyway, I select 100 messages and it shows all 100 headers at the top, but the message bodies quit at about 28.

If that worked, I could print to PDF and then maybe edit that with proper software.

Any suggestions how to accomplish this?

Hi Brad,

This is a very old chestnut indeed.

When I created PG Offline I wanted it to be a complete environment for group messages i.e. a good place to search and read as well as download messages. I deliberately did not want it to become a 'site ripper' and because of this, there is no 'Export as'/'Save as' option.

I do understand that there can be perfectly legitimate uses for messages exported as text but due to a small minority who might abuse such a function, it has not been added.
