Hi

It's been a few months since I used PGoffline, and this time it keeps timing out. I get 'authorized' and then it says how many messages are in the group, and gives the number it stopped at last time, and then the program just hangs until I get a message "time out - do you want to stop receiving messages?" So I figured I might have to update to a later version. I'm on 2.5.49. I d/l'd the latest version, and it seemed to install OK, but then it crashed. So I started PGoffline again, and it's back to the 2.5.49 version, and still hanging on the messages. I use XP Professional.

Since posting your message you may have seen the discussions on the topic.

They are working hard to adapt the program for the changes that Yahoo made. One of the key people in the effort has been hospitalized due to a car accident.

Thanks Scott,

Yes, we have had a set back in the shape of my friend's major car accident but one of our own PGO users has stepped into the breach to lend a hand. I won't identify her yet to spare her blushes but hopefully she'll come forward at a later date and accept her recognition.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson,

Thanks for the update!! It's really refreshing having a company keep its customers in the loop with its developments keep it up!! I await in anticipation for the new version!

Kindest Regards,

Tim

Hi Tim (and everyone!),

It looks like we're finally making some headway. I think that the core problem has been indentified. Hopefully its all downhill from here in.
Assuming we don't run into anything nasty in the resolution phase!

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson

I just wrote you privately because I didn't know about the responses here. I had the settings so I should have received email updates, but it didn't work. I'll go fix that if I can. I'll just be patient and hope everything resolves itself soon and your guy heals fast.

Hi,

Well, someone doesn't want us to get this done. I managed to contact the original programmer. He's willing to help! He's going on holiday tonight for 2 weeks!

You couldn't make it up could you.

I have put the parser work out to competitive tender. I have quite a few bids. I'm going to accept more than one (even though it means paying all of them) just to get things moving.

Cheers,

Wilson.

I've selected someone to use for the parser. He has come up with regexs for all required fields except the Yahoo ID which he is working on now.

Hopefully when he's finished we can just plug these into the code and that'll be it !

Cheers,

Wilson.

Awesome, cheers Wilson, sounding promising!
