Hi there,

I was facing "timeoput" messages on v2.5.56 and was unable to download any new messages since the last update which was sometimes in early Feb 2009. Therefore decided to download the newer version, v3.0.67.

ENcountered 2 issues:

1. After downloading the new version, there seems to be 2 copies of PGOffline, one in i) C:\Programs File\PG Offline\PGO and the other under ii) C:\Documents and Settings\<computer name>\My Documents\PG Offline\PGO\. ygroups.mdb in i) is empty with 200KB. Can I proceed to delete the older version?

2. v3.0.67 stills does not download.

I am using XP Windows

Appreciate ur help.

Thanks

Hi the download issue is a problem we are all facing at this stage. It seems Yahoo is in the middle of a server wide change - hopefully when the change finishes we should be back to normal... If it doesn't then Wilson is onto it allreay :-)

Thanks. Is is ok that i proceed to delete the older version from my computer?

Hi All,

Yes you can delete older versions. If you ever want to go back to an older version they are all available in the

http://www.pgoffline.com/groupmanager/   folder

Regarding current issues, we're working on them now.

Cheers,

Wilson.

I have deleted the older version using "control panel/Add or remove program".  However, as a result, i am unable to access the proramme.

Error message:

Error during create connection to database
Error information: Could not find file "C:\Documents and Settings\[name]\My Documents\PGOffline\PGO\ygroups.mdb".

Tired to reinstall by choosing the "Repair option but to no avail.

Have I done anything fatal?Appreciate your help.

Thanks!!

The earlier versions of PGO install to a different folder.

Please have a look at this thread:

What you have is the reverse of that problem.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson,

Looks like I have accidentically deleted the mdb file that I wanted to keep! arrgh....

Trying to download from scratch again but am still faced by the downloading problem, system seems to go into limbo at "Receive message: 1".

Appreciate any help/inputs you can provide.

Many thanks!
