I am in the process of taking a yahoo group to a vBulletin forum.  I am having some issues with getting the members email addresses and the tblYgr_<groupname>_Mmb table.  I am using the trial version of pg offline.  I am right clicking the group and selecting Get Members, is there another step I am missing or do I need the plus version?

Thank you,

dgomez

I have purchased PG offline and I was able to get the email address for each of the posts in the FromEmail field in the tblYgr_<groupname> table.  I am not able to get the members table tbl_<groupname>_Mmb.  I believe I will need this table when importing to vBulleting, what do I need to do to get this table?

Hi,

You need to ensure that you have access rights to the Members table in Yahoo i.e. you must be the owner of the group or a moderator with access to the full membership list which shows full email addresses.

Cheers,

Wilson.

I am the owner of the group.  When I export the group I am only getting 3 tables:
tblGroups
tblYgr_<groupname>
tblYgr_<groupname>_Att

Several month ago I was using the trial version and when I exported the group I was also getting the table tblYgr_<groupname>_Mmb.
I am right clicking on the group and selecting Get Members.  Then exporting, but no members table.
Is there a step I am missing?  When I view the exported data I am just opening it with excel, is this an issue?
Do I need this table when importing to vBulletin?

Is your group public?  Its possible that you're not signing in but because the group is public you're still able to download the messages.

Go to File--> Options--> Workflow and uncheck the 'Skip Authorisation' box. Now retry the members download. If you do not have authorisation to download members you will be shown an error message to that effect.

BTW if you're downloading to export to VBulletin you must first download all the members and then download the messages. That way the correct email addresses are assigned to the correct users.

Also, if you've used an old version and recently installed a new one please be aware that the newer version (2.5.061 onwards) installs to

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.<computer-name>\My Documents\PG Offline\PGO

The old one installed to

    C:\Program Files\PG Offline\

So you might be getting members but you're looking at the wrong database in the wrong folder.

Cheers,

Wilson.
