Just updated.....but the new version is EXTREMELY slow compared to previou one....several seconds....up to 10..to download each message.

Is this normal for the new version or do I have something amiss.

Warren,

You could check to see if message caching is on. How many messages are you getting at once? If its 100 then your server is simply slow today.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Message caching set to 100.   Still slow today.????
Any other ideas?

Hi Wilson,
My PC is out of commission for a couple of days (lightning hit) so I can't check out the new patch (38).

Does it address the speed issue in caching mode? The above-referenced thread was more about the affect of caching on the subject line, so I thought a followup on the speed issue would be more appropriate here.

Hi David,

Sorry, I can't tell you. We never had this problem so we're dependant on you to test if this is still an issue.

Please let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson, I just got my PC back together and tested version 38. Cached download speeds are back to normal (for me, about 800/min). Since I skipped ver 36 and 37, I can 't say which one fixed it.

Thanks!
David
