Consolidating downloads

Let's say that by clubbing together with other colleagues we manage to download all the messages from our Yahoo Group. Then, if they send me their downloads, can I just import them into my own database? Should I assume this import will only add/append messages to my .mdb file?

I'm pretty sure that is correct. I've never had a problem with multiple imports.  Again, ask Wilson...

Yes, Tammi is correct. It will only append. You can therefore merge archives onto your db.

Its not such a problem any more with the faster download. You should be able to DL a whole group yourself. I did 60,000 messages list night, with no problems.
