The directory name is invalid

Receiving the following error when attempting to download files and photos from Yahoo! Groups...

"The directory name is invalid"

Not having problems finding the files and sure it is something on my end, but I can't figure it out.

Running Windows 10 and using PG Offline v 4.0.897.

How odd....  have you specified a folder to download to or is this a vanilla install of PGO?

Both actually. Tried the plain vanilla first and then specifying the download directory.

Messages have downloaded fine and the sub directory for photos and files were created. Just getting the file failed to download, file path and error message for every file and photo. Sub folders are empty.

Tried it with and without the firewall on and still same message.

I'm clueless...

Can you post some data from the status pane (bottom window) in PGO when  you get these errors?

The directory name cannot be invalid if it already created it.

Maybe uninstall & re-install as Administrator?.

Uninstalling will not delete any data.

Can you run some sort of disk checker on your C: drive?

e.g. https://www.passmark.com/products/diskcheckup/
