Update attachment links?

Hi,
What is "Update attachment links"?   and will it help with what I want do?

My problem is that I (1) imported a group from PGO 3, into version 4, (2) hadn't downloaded attachments for those messages. 

Now on PGO 4, I am receiving the group's attachments just fine. But in order to get attachments for the "previous" messages (that are now in PGO4 but w/o attachments) I'm thinking I'll have to delete, then re-download all those messages.

It sounds like "update attachment links" may be a way to update just the attachments. I hope so, but I couldn't find any help info on it. And if it's not that, I'm wondering is there's an easier way to do what I want to do. Thanks.

Looks like this question has already been addressed and I will have to re-download those messages, so I will do that.

Hi Debbie,

If you have not got the attachments you will have to go back and download them.

I originally thought you *had* the attachments but the path for attachments needed updating.

That's what "Update Attachment Links" did.
