Their transfer process auto-adds the original users.

Even if they're dead and buried.

Only if they're still members on the YG and not bouncing.  Otherwise the content is 'assigned' to the group owner.

Still, its still neither practical not necessary.

GIO does not offer search by author.   The poster name is in the text main body so it gets found using the GIO search.
