Looks like the Invalid Page Format error is back again. :(  Looks like Yahoo is playing with the format again.

The new Version 4 beta seems to work, but is terribly slow.

Hi Michael,

Please try 370. It is, in the venacular, bitchin fast.

www.personalgroupware.com/groupmanager/pg_offline_4_r370.zip  (1.2Mb)

Same deal as before, you should unzip it into a folder (called anything sensible).
There is no install file. You just navigate to the .exe file in

sensibly named folder/PG Offline/bin/Debug

and run it.

Please let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson,

I got v377 installed and it seems to be working well.  Is there a reason I should be using v370 over v377?  I do see that it is counting down from 30 days.  I assume that I'll need a license once it reaches zero.  One thing it's missing, no date/time stamp during the update, so I can't tell when it last pulled the files down if I leave it running.

Otherwise it is running well!

Hi Michael,

There's a newer version:

www.personalgroupware.com/groupmanager/pg_offline_4_r438.zip

The time stamp seems to be working in that.

BTW have you tried the "download files & folders" function?  Its new.

Regarding the time stamp, when it runs out there will be no renewal. No test version is expected to have a life of more than a week so you'll be moving on to a newer version before the time runs out.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson,  It is getting better with each update!  File/Picture downloads work nice.  One request.....Allow the user to specify the location (i.e. folder) to save the files/pictures.  I've got a Yahoo Groups folder in "My Documents" that I would like to use.   I still don't see any time stamps when I do a refresh.  If I have to enable that somewhere, I sure couldn't find it!  This is really shaping up to be one heck of a program!!!

Oh just to be complete, I'm running Win7 64bit.

Hi Michael,

Yes, there should be the facility to specify the default download folder path for each group.

Cheers,

Wilson.
