When I try to open PGO, a pop-up reading

Error during create "'tblYgr_Amateur-repairs_Mmb'
Error Informatio : Invalid argument

How do I get around this?
Thanks

Hi,

I used to get errors like this when I directly deleted the table from the Access database but did not delete the reference to the table in the master table (tblGroups).

Have you deleted this table in PGO or manually in Access?

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson

I don't have any Access software on this pc (running Win2k), and I haven't deleted anything.

PGO won't run after the pop-up appears and the pc locks up.  Only way out is to use task manager to shutdown PGO application.  If I click on OK in the pop-up, it repeats sequentially for each group in my group list.

I seem to have the correct files in the PGO folder.  Is there any freeware I can use to read the mdb files. to check they are intact.  Don't want to lose any data.

Have I exceeded any limits within the software capacity, and is there a limit to PGO file sizes?

Thanks   MikeN

Hi Mike,

There is a limit to the mdb file size. Microsoft set this limit at 2GB. However, PGO will stop downloading messages once the database (mdb file)  gets to 90% full i.e. 1.8GB.

Just as a test can you rename your database file so that PGO can't find it. It will be called ygroups.mdb. You could rename it to ygroups1.mdb or indeed anything just so long as PGO can't find it. If PGO can then open normally the database file is suspect.

Of course, while you're in Windows Explorer, have a look at the size of ygroups.mdb.

Cheers,

Wilson.
