Would like the ability to save the "Search source" -- i.e. the commands you could use in Access so that they could be further tailored to fit my needs.

Hi Linda,

You mean the raw SQL ?  I think there are some pretty good SQL/Query tools kicking about.

I'd Google for "SQL Query Freeware".

I know how to write the raw searches.  Too lazy to do that everytime but might have enough ambition to add to what PGOffline does...

Hi Linda,

You'd only need to do it once. After that you could just refine the basic query. The SQL could be saved in any text application like Word or even Notepad.
