Import group MDB into Outlook/Gmail

Short of forwarding each message individually, is there any way to use the MDB from PGOffline to import into Outlook mail files?

Ultimate goal is to upload to GMail account for online searchable archives.  I have utilities to take from Outlook to Gmail; just need to get the messages into Outlook

Any suggestions?

Hi Mate,

There's a free utility called Yahoo to MBox (yahoo2mbox). I suspect its better for what you want.

Hi -
Thanks for the suggestions.  Unfortunately, my skills are a little dated . .  PERL? Huh?  Whu?  I do know what it is, but it is not within my skillset, unfortunately.

As it looks like your program should do the trick of d/l, and I can import the resulting MDB into Outlook, I'm now stuck on how to strip out all the HTML code from the 'message' field.  If this is possible, then I'll be able to get the bossman to spring for the software involved.

Thx!

Google is your friend... mostly. Ages ago I Googled for a utility to strip text from HTML. A not infrequent requirement you'd think. Well, it must be fiendishly difficult because I couldn't find anything to do this and if its that hard I'm damn sure I'm not going to try writing one myself.

However, I did find someone who'd written a VB module to do this, or the basis of one. You could Google for that.

Sorry I can't be more usefull.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Yes, it always concerns me when I can't find something in 10-12 pages of results.

I think I'll just run a glorified search & replace and turn all the HTML into spaces.  The result doesn't have to be real purty, just searchable.

Thanks for your insight.
