My harddrive is broken up into four different drives.  Most of these are almost full.  Now I have a lot of messages I'm trying to download so I almost complete freed one of my drives.  After that I downloaded a few of my groups.  However when I went to see where the groups were being saved, the messages didn't seem to be on the drive I wanted (e drive) as it still says I have 3 GB free and my c drive, which is the one drive I don't save to, seems to be losing free space.

I thought the local messages were saved in a database located where you put PG Offline.  however the database, ygroups.mdb, hasn't changed size, even though I've downloaded a few groups.  I've reloaded PGOffline a couple times and changed the drive I put it on, but I'm not sure that is a factor.

I just wanted to know where local messages get saved once they have been downloaded and how can I change where they are saved?

Hi Terry,

As default PGO saves all messages to C:/Program Files/PG Offline/ygroups.mdb

To move the messages you have now to another folder you'd have to move your groups to a new database using Export/Import.

You can create a new database in File--> New Database and you can specify which folder that database will be created in.

Once you have exported any groups you should delete them & do a File--> Compact Database to recover the space.

Cheers,

Wilson.
