Hello,
I try PG Offline in Spain. It's a great tool.
The problem is probably in the character codes and date format. In the spanish groups :

- PG fail to get the message date, or get it in January (Lun 5-3-99 10:30 -> Lun 5-1-99 10:30).

- can't get de members list.

 - In the message list the characters are wrong, but not in the message window. When i export database, I see correct characters in MS-access.

PD: Sorry, I don't speak english.

I see now the upgrade versions, and the optional upgrade version (2.0.178) that suport national groups.  I will try it. And I am sure that all works fine.
Sorry

Wilson Logan

Please let me know if it works correctly for you.

Thanks,

Wilson.

Hola
I install the two last patch and the date is correct now. But the get members command don't works. I look: "Receive next page with members", and then:  "For some reasons you don't have access to the members list of this group." But I have access and the problem is in all spanish groups.
And the caracter code in the list window is wrong.

Thanks,
solo

Solo,

Only group owners & moderators have guaranteed access to the members list. If you can list the members of your group when you look at the group page online then the members list is public. If there is no possibility to list the members on the group home page then the group owner has made the members list private (this is quite common).

Can you give me an example of a group which you are a member of which has a public members list?

We're working on the problem of character codes in the list window. This will be fixed soon.

Thanks,

Wilson.

Hola,
I have tried it in groups in which I am a member and in groups in which I am the moderator.
I send you the examples.

Thanks,

I'm having this same problem.

All Spanish groups and some of the French groups don't get the date right and adds a </font> at the end of the subject. (The French ones that come through well seem to do so because they are not set as French in group settings).

version 2.5.14

PS: woops, now saw something completely new with those words you have to type in when you login.
