Export button greyed out

I notice the "Export" button is greyed out under "Export to folder".  I'm using the latest version (818), have selected a folder and ticked the group I want to export.  Can't think of any steps I might have omitted ...

Sorry Martin,

Export is currently broken so to avoid confusion it is greyed out.

Maybe we should have a small "under construction" sign next to the button :)

Thanks, Wilson, at least I know it isn't me getting something wrong at this end - any idea how long the construction work is likely to take? :-)

Well, actually, I may be a bit off the mark.

I just tried it again myself. First thing to note is that unless you pick a group to export AND enter a filename to export to, the Export button remains greyed out.

Now I did do a successful export of 43,000 messages but after the export finished, PGO crashed.

So, not perfect but it did work.

Further update...

Tried it again... there seems to be a little bugette where you have to select the group twice or the Export button doesn't light up.

What I did was..

1) Select group.

2) Enter filename

3) Deselect group

4) Reselect group (Export button lights up!)

5) Press Export button.


Export worked and PGO did not crash this time.

Success, using the double-select trick!  Thanks for that - I do a monthly backup to my HD so things can change a little (or I can forget a little) in between times.
