I'm a newbie, so my apologies if this question is stupid or has already been answered.

I just installed PGO. I've been able to add groups and seem to be connecting successfully, but I'm getting the "Invalid Page Format" error.

Here's an example
10/17/2006 10:34:22 PM >  Set group's info (ForGodandCountry)
10/17/2006 10:34:22 PM >  Authorization skipped
10/17/2006 10:34:23 PM >  Request number of messages
10/17/2006 10:34:24 PM >  Number of messages : 239
10/17/2006 10:34:24 PM >  Receive message : 16
10/17/2006 10:34:27 PM >  Error : Invalid page format.
10/17/2006 10:34:27 PM >  Receive message : 17
10/17/2006 10:34:29 PM >  Error : Invalid page format.
10/17/2006 10:34:35 PM >  Error : Invalid page format.
[...]

I noticed that a recent discussion (http://www.pgoffline.com/yabbse/index.php?board=5;action=display;threadid=538) about a change on Yahoo's end, but there's no indication as to whether the problem has been resolved.

Should I be able to download messages at the moment?

Thanks.

Hi,

PG Offline uses cached login info from Internet Explorer to login automatically for you if you have "Skip Authorisation" set to ON. This stops PG Offline doing a login for each and every group during a Refresh (saves a little time).

"Skip Authorisation" is in File--> Options --> Workflow.

Setting it to OFF will cause PG Offline to use its own login information which you have supplied in Master Login to do the login to Yahoo for each group.

If you have recently cleared the Internet Explorer cache (or do not use IE) then Skip Authorisation = ON will not work as it needs the cached info.

You can either login to Yahoo groups using IE to refresh the cached login info or set Skip Authorisation = OFF (ie. uncheck the box).

Cheers,

Wilson.
