When I try to export either the total file or just the Favorites in a file, the program creates the export file in the folder specified, but PG Offline hangs for a few minutes and then I get error message that PG Offline Executable has encountered a problem and needs to close.
This is information about error:
AppName: pgoffline25.exe    AppVer: 2.5.0.24    ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180    Offset: 0001eb33

If I run PG Offline again and try to open the exported file, then I get this message:
Database format is invalid. It is possible you are trying to open an archive file. Archive files cannot be opened directly. Use the Import facility.

So if I load a group that I know works, so I can import the exported file, the Group import box comes up, I click ?Get List? and then I get the error message:
The groups coloured grey in the group import window are not in your group list. Please add them to you group list to access them.

If I select Export Favorite ID?s only, PG creates the file and still continues to work. But when I try to open exported file, then I get Database format is invalid error message again.

All I want to do is save/export part of a database.

Hi Loren,

What setup are you running, i.e. what operarting system and browser do you have?

When you get the error, I think there's an option "Details". You can choose there to save a file called appcompat.txt  If it happens again, can you send me that file?

BTW you can only open an archive file from the Import facilty, not from Open Database.

Thanks,

Wilson.
