Lost my old Posts!

I was almost through downloading my group........11,000 + messages when the new patch was issued and so I downloaded it....Now the problem is that I lost all those old messages.    Got any Idea where they could be? I have run a search and could not find them anywhere.... i am running XP and have the latest version.....Help! I was almost there!

Alex,

Have you used default database before patch was installed, or you have created new database using File -> New Database?
