Loaded patch and now can't import

I'm on vacation and trying to move everything to my laptop.  I first loaded version 170, manually added a couple of my groups (couldn't get them to automatically add) and was able to import all the message I had exported.

Couldn't get new messages from Yahoo without the "invalid page" error and realized that I needed a more recent version of PGoffline.  Downloaded and installed the patch to 180.  This solved the invalid page problem and I could get it to automatically add my groups but I had to delete the manually added groups and pick them up automatically.

Now for the problem - I can no longer import the messages from my saved .mdb file.  It still reads the file and recognizes the groups it contains with the correct number of messages but when I select one or more and import it says "Item not found in this collection".

Doesn't matter which group I select - and this same import worked fine minutes earlier with 170 and a manually added group name.  Also note that these groups seem to work fine with Yahoo as I can get new messages no problem.

thanks for any help you can provide.

Steve

Please apply patch 2.0.180

Actually, my problem began when I installed the 180 patch.  Prior to that I had no problem.  Just redownloaded and reinstalled that patch again - still can't load from my archive file.

Can you tell me what that error means?

Hi Steve,

Between 175 & 179 we added a new field to the database to save the 'From' email address of posters. This feature is only for group owners as only they can actually see the unmunged address.

When you try to import 170 archives with 180 its expecting to see this new field in the database table & when it doesn't it gets upset.

We're having similar trouble with the search facility.

There will be a fix for this very shortly (today or tomorrow).

Cheers,

Wilson.
