Messages download has stopped, in all groups I subscribe to, since March 03.
Is a patch available for this ?
Thanks,
Ulisses

Hi Ulisses,

What error message do you get ?

Cheers,

Wilson.

No message at all, pgoffline seems to be connecting and disconnecting normally,  but no messages are downloaded.
I created log files, with pg offline debug, for some of the groups I subscribe to, if you want to have a look at them I need your email address to send them to.

Thanks,

Hi Ulisses,

You can send the logs to wilson.logan (at) ntlworld.com

BTW which version are you running ?

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson,

I sent you the log files and the pg version I am using is the latest, 2.5.044.

Thanks,

Hi.  I'm having a similar problem; some groups load, but others give error messages.  I'm sending Wilson all of the log that got captured.  I think I download about 50-60 groups.

Thanks John, I got that.

I have recently had an email from a guy in America who had the same problem for the last week but now it seems to have sorted itself out.

How long have you had this problem John?

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson,
I still have the messages download problem.
Is there a solution to it ?

Thanks,

Ulisses

Wilson. I'll join in here because my problem, reported in anther thread, is more widespread than I thought. There is activity, but nothing seems to download. Checking, I find this is for many if not all of all my lists - 40-50. I thought it was only two new lists that weren't functioning.

No error message.

What to do?

Hi Dennis,

If you see the error " Message xxx not exist", this is a problem with Yahoo itself. It is erroring on some perfectly valid queries. This only happens in message caching mode. You can temporarily switch to non-cached mode for the problem groups, till Yahoo get their act together.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Checking on most of my groups I now find that there has been no download since 14th. of March. Some messages stopped on 11th./13th. of March. I just tried to refresh - no error messages, but no messages downloaded, either. Connections seems to be fine, authorization skipped, some apparent activity - but no downloading.
PG Offline is immobilised. What can I do?

Can you send me a screenshot of a typical group? Please ensure that the last message number is set back to a point where you would get messages if it was working. If you can make it a public group, so much the better.

Cheers,

Wilson.
