Looks like Yahoo is at it again.  I follow 28 seperate Yahoo! groups and all that have new messages today are reporting....

Error: Message #### not exist.

The error repeats until it gets to the last message in the group and then repeats for the next group.  I logged onto Yahoo! Groups directly and the message #'s should be valid.

Anyone else seeing this one?

Do we need to see what happens in the next 24 hours Wilson??

Thanks

Uk and German groups are still OK, but for the rest I don't get any errors reported, but none of the new messages are received, though the start message # is increased. And it is the same whether caching is on or not!!! Wilson, we need you ....

I'm getting it as well. I'll have a look at it & get back to you.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Yes, I started having this problem Wednesday morning for all of my yahoogroups.

Downloaded the patch and everthing seems to be working now. Thank you.

The patch has done the job. Thanks for fixing this so promptly.

I noticed that the "old" groups downloaded fine without error but a new group we just started had this error.  So I'll download the latest patch.

Yahoo programmers must watch Star Trek, the one where Scotty says:
"You know engineers, they love to change things."

:)  (or was that Doc?)

Well oops ..... the latest patch gave me a "Cannot resolve server" message so I went back to the prior version  (25044) and this time it ran through the new group OK.   Now I can't remember if I actually had installed that patch before.

Wilson Logan

When you install a new version you need to tell your firewall or security software to allow PGO to connect to the internet. Even though its the same program, its a new version & it needs to be given authorisation. If you don't you get the "Cannot resolve server" error.

I have Zone Alarm and when you apply a patch it asks you to allow the new version to connect to the internet.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Installed new patch, reset last read counter, and everything is working fine again!

Thanks!
