Hi all.  I am using PG 2.5.053 on WinXP SP2.  When trying to list my groups, I am receiving the dreaded invalid page format error.  Oddly, when I try it with one Yahoo ID it works just fine.  When I try it with another (my main one, of course), I get the error.

This makes me suspect the error has to do with cookies or authorization, rather than something on the Yahoo servers.  But then again, what do I know?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Yes, this does sound related to your ID but it may just be a coincidence.

Best thing is to check that you have right ID for the problem group. PG Offline assumes that you're using your main login at all times except when a different user id & password are individually set for that group. You can set id & password for a group by right clicking on the Group name in the Groups list & choosing Group Settings. In Groups Settings choose the Group Logon tab. This allows you to set your id & password individually for that group.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson,

Thanks for the really quick answer.  I really appreciate it.

My original post may not have been clear.  My problem is not with any specific group.  Indeed, the three groups I've added download messages just fine.  Rather, I have trouble when I try to use "Get Groups List".  In other words, I can't get the (large!) list of groups I belong to.  Oddly, when I started PGO for the very first time, it worked great--but I only selected these three groups. Now I want to add the others.

I've confirmed that things work fine for my other Yahoo IDs and that I have the problem whether "Skip Authorization" is checked or not.

Any ideas? Thanks!

OK, I have that problem also. Yahoo are dicking around with their group list format.

If you want to add groups now you can do it manually (Groups--> New Group) or you can wait & see if the group list format settles down, which it might or if it looks permanently altered we'll release a patch for it.

Cheers,

Wilson.
