PGO not finding photos

Greetings
I am in the process of downloading a new group as well as updating another one. The Photo folder of the new group is empty and the older group's Photo folder only contains content up to May of this year, the last time I refreshed it before today. The new group has hundreds of photos; they are all visible and downloadable. The older group has about a dozen new photos since May.
For the new group, I clicked on Photos and got a dialog box saying You do not have any Photos for the group xxxxx. Download them now? Choosing Yes brings up another window titled Download photos. Clicking on the List button starts a searching loader. Fine so far, but when the search is complete a new box pops up with the message There are no items available for this group.
I get a similar result with the group I am trying to update. I start by right-clicking the group and choosing Download photos. After searching I receive the same the message:There are no items available for this group.
I know there have numerous instances of photos and other material not being available from Yahoo. But in this case, I can access them directly. Only PGO is not seeing them.
