PGo ...820: search doesn't work

I've used PGO for years now and it's (very) limited search function worked for me. But now I experienced a strange problem. Searching for 'Wallenstein' in the message body / find all (the group archive contains approx.  1.000.000 posts) surfaced no results though the archive definitely includes a post w/ this name.
Then I tried to search for Yahoo's msg # and ended up empty again.  But when I scroll through the list of posts I can localise the message I'm looking for.

Did one of the recent updates to versions after ...918 introduce a bug in the search function or am I doing something wrong suddenly?

Hi Juergen,

I was unaware that search was working for anyone.

As far as I know, download isn't working either (or at least not for me).

I will have to fix that before looking at search.
