Hello, I have installed PG4 to a new pc Windows 8. I copied the .db3 file from old pc to the data folder of PG and I could see the messages of my group.
#1 When I tried to sync with Yahoo, I get the following message
SQLite error (8): statement aborts at 140: [INSERT INTO group_message (number, date, subject, content, favorite, unread, discussion_group, charset, person) VALUES (@number, @date, @subject, @content, @favorite, @unread, @discus
#2 Then on a next attempt, the message was
The remote name could not be resolved:'groups.yahoo.com'
#3 Then another attempt but this time when opening PG4
a message window "System clock broken"
And now PG4 won't open any more. What should I do now ?
Thank you
Hi,
Can you confirm that you are running the latest version (800-572) ?

Thanks,
Wilson.
Yes Wilson this is the zip file that I downloaded and installed pg-offline-4-0-800-572-setup
Just now I opened PG, once the database was loaded and my messages there in the windows list, PG gave a message that it stopped working and closed down.
Hi Pierre,
What operating system do you have?
Thanks,
Wilson.
In my first post, I have Windows 8 (not 8.1)
Thank you
Hi Pierre,
Sorry I missed that about your OS.
So.. not sure.. I don't have win 8.
To get at your db3 messages, did you do an File--> Import from Folder or are you doing File--> Open Database?
Cheers,
Wilson.
I copied the .db3 file from old pc and pasted it to the data folder of PG on my new pc. That's all, no import db or no open db, just pasted the db and then launched PG. My messages are all there in the PG window.
Wilson, my apologies, you already some time ago mentioned to me to do the import not just copy the Db, I have now done this and it works. I have updated my migration instructions with this procedure.
Thank you and have a good weekend.
Pierre
Hi Pierre,
No problem. Glad you got it sorted out.
Cheers,
Wilson.
