Hi there,
Just joined a new Yahoo Group and attempted to get my groups list so I could archive it in PGO.
Came up with 'Error: Invalid page format.'
I tried skipping authorization, and even logged in via IE and Firefox before retrying.. I have no problem getting my mail for my groups, but for some reason, can't get my groups list.
Can anyone help?
Vlad
Edit - I'm using version 3.0.82 of PG Offline..
Hi Vlad,
Please try 3.0.084
http://www.personalgroupware.com/groupmanager/PGOffline-3-0-084.exe
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Hi again,
Just managed to finally update to 3.0.84 (now my internet is finally fixed), and the problem is still present.
Any ideas on what might be causing this??
Thanks,
Vlad
Hi Vlad,
Please let me know which group it is and I'll try it myself.
If you want to contact me personally, my email is

I was going to ask what you meant, by which group, as it occurs when I select 'Get Groups List', but I joined another group today, and lo and behold, I can suddenly get my groups list again.
The group I joined that I got the error after was "Mithras_Chronicles" (it's a Buffy FanFic group)
Now that I have joined a new group, the error has gone away.. At least for now anyway. If I had of known that would have worked, I would have joined a new group sooner. As another note, I was a member of 50 groups when the error occurred (don't know if that could have caused it).
Hope that helps work out why it was messing up, at least.
Regards,
Vlad
Hi Vlad,
I think the issue is that the URL for Mithras Chronicles is
http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mithras_Chronicles/
note the 'tv.' prefix.
PGO does not currently recognise any group not starting with:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group
I think the best solution is to offer an override function in Options-->Miscellaneous where you can specify the group URL explicitly.
Cheers,
Wilson.
