Maybe I missed it, but it would be handy to have the option of making a message be marked as having been read quicker rather than having to wait around 4 seconds. Instantaneous or configurable time (about 1 second) would be better.

I frequently am scanning through messages and can read shorter messages quickly but have to wait for the message to be marked so I know I've already looked at it.

Thanks Wilson. I'd never visited that part of the program. Changed the value, shutdown and restarted program and it worked great. (Shutdown/restart seemed to be necessary.)
