Post by: Denos on January 20, 2008, 03:34:59 PM
Been working happily for a week with newly installed PGOffline - now: invalid page format.  I've logged in to IE. Doesn't fix the problem. WHAT can I do, please. PC XP - was working yesterday.    Dennis

Hi Dennis,

This is a bit involved but it?s the only way for me to find out whats going on without actually being sat next to you.

This procedure will start PG Offline in Debug mode and produce output which will help me.

1) Please unzip the attached file to C:/pgo.bat

2) In Windows do Start--> Run  and type

    cmd

in the field. Hit enter. This will open a DOS window.

3) Run the attached batch file by typing C:/pgo.bat and hit enter in the DOS window which will start PG Offline in debug mode. Try to download any group so that you get the 'Invalid Page Format' error. Once you get the error you can stop PG Offline.

Now go to the folder C:/Program Files/PG Offline/Log and there will be at least one HTML file there. Can you please attach the files to an email and send them to me?

Thanks,

Wilson.

You've got to loath Yahoo don't you?  They don't seem to have any form of version control at all. Its just a lottery which version of Yahoo you're going to get anytime you log in.

Cheers,

Wilson.
