Title: Redirect Errors
Post by: Bill Bradshaw on December 03, 2006, 07:45:37 AM
I am starting to get redirect errors again.  Using version 2.5.47.  I have the September dll so the message at the top about the redirect request error will not help.

Hi Bill,

All groups ? Have I given you the test DLL fix for this?

Cheers,

Wilson.

It looks like about 7 out of 13 are having redirect problems.  I do not know if I have the test dll but my yg_mr.dll is 389,120 bytes and the file date is October 25, 2006.  I believe this was the test file because I remember a message you wrote that stated you were going to have the developer include the dll in the program.  I downloaded and installed the update to 2.5.49 but it does not fix the problem.

Hi Bill can you try this?

This is the old DLL poeple reported as working. It *should* be incorporated in the new versions but...

Download it from here:

http://www.pgoffline.com/test/yg_mr.dll

go to your PG Offline install directory (probably C:/Program Files/PG Offline) and rename the yg_mr.dll which is currently there to yg_mr.old

Now copy the new, downloaded one into the install directory and run PG Offline.

If it doesn't work or causes trouble, reverse the procedure by deleting the yg_mr.dll from the install directory and  renaming the yg_mr.old back to yg_mr.dll

Cheers,

Wilson.

Unfortunately the dll did not fix the problem.  Anything else you want me to try?

Reset the dll file.  Unchecked skip authorization.  Was able to download all of my groups.  Check skip authorization and redirect issue again raises its head.  So I will run with skip authorization unchecked.  Yahoo is up to something.

Freaky.

You only get the redirect error when PGO does not do its own login?

One for the developer I think.

Wilson.
