Hi all.
Thank you Mr. Wilson Logan for this nice program and your efforts on this board. It is highly appreciated. I have just downloaded the trial version of PGO 2.5.044 and I am on my way to download all the messages from my Yahoo group. Excellent work by the way and wish you the best of luck. If all goes well, I will buy the registration code. :)
Now my question:
Could someone please post here the step by step procedure of converting the PGO database into vBulletin 3.5.4? TIA
I'm sure you've seen this answer but I'll post it here for others:

BTW you'll need to download the group using the Plus version to get the users tied to the messages. Clearly the Plus version is for sale to group owners only.
Cheers,
Wilson.

I am a Yahoo group owner. What is the Plus version, and where can I buy it from?
I have downloaded the trial version of PGO. Using the trial version I was able to download the group messages to PDO. Once I buy the Plus version, do I need to download the messages again?

What is the Plus version, and where can I buy it from?
>>>> Basically, it additionally lets you download the group members email addresses and automatically links them to the messages. If you don't do this all the messages will appear to come from groupowner@groupname.com
You need to be very carefull that the vBulletin conversion routine will re-mung the addresses before posting.
You will need to download the messages again.
The Plus version costs $40 and is available once I have a confirmation email from groupowner@groupname.com that you are who you say you are (no offence).
Please PM me with your groupname & I will email the groupowner (ie you).
Cheers,
Wilson.
PM sent.
OK, I've sent an email to the group owner.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Excellent, got your email and replied back. I am all set to go. Thanks Wilson
Hello Wilson, are you still there ???
Sorry for the delay. I have sent you what you require.
Cheers,
Wilson.

~ Initial version: pgoffline-2-0-150
~ I installed the PLUS patch (pgpatch25044p), but started getting ERROR: Invalid Page Format
~ Installed the latest version: PGOffline-2-5-045
~ Downloading the message was fine, no error message.
~ Re-installed the pgpatch25044p, started getting ERROR: Invalid Page Format AGAIN
~ Re-installed the latest version: PGOffline-2-5-045 and no error.
The problem is, I need the PLUS version. Is there an update for the PLUS version?
Yes there is. I knew you'd need it so I mailed it to you. I'll try again.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Yep, got it in zip format. I will try it right away and report back. Thanks Wilson :)
Ok, here is the current situation:
I have done the following:
~ Downloaded the group messages from Yahoo using the Plus version of PGO
~ Converted the mdb file into a mySQL txt file
~ Created a mySQL database and user on the webserver.
Now, I need to upload the mySQL txt file into the newly created mySQL database on the webserver. How do I do that? ???
Hi Wilson
When the database generated by the trial version of PG Offline Plus 2.5.45 was converted to mySQL, the "users table" was not there. Does the Access DB generated by PGO have the users table?
Hi Jamal,
The members table is in the ygroups.mdb database. You'll need to open it using Access 2000 and export it.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Thanks Wilson. I will try that and report back if any issues.
The table will be called
tbl_<groupname>_Mmb.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Looks like the members table is empty. Is that normal when converting to mySQL?
Did you do Groups--> Get Members to fill the table?
Cheers,
Wilson.
