Title: Exporting PG Offline to another service
Post by: cv-david on January 22, 2006, 07:34:43 PM
Hi:

One of the organizations I belong to is contemplating moving away from Yahoogroups. It looks like PG Offline could be used to archive the existing forum. However is there a way to then "export" or move that archive into a BB like this one (YaBB) or other PHP bulletin board system?

From a cursory read of the instructions, it looks like PG Offline is using the MDB file format, which is, I think, the same as Outlook?

If exporting to another format is not an option, is is something that could be added to the wishlist?

Or if someone knows of another way of doing this that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

David

Hi David,

The folks over at vBulletin use PG Offline to xfer Yahoo groups to vBulletin.

This will get you started:

You will probably need to request more help from within the vBulletin group.

Cheers,

Wilson.
