I'm a new user with 2.5.043.
So far it is working well but there is a strange glitch.
The edit box to enter a message number and the adjacent Go button are on top of the Help icon on the tool bar. This is with a Win2K system, 1600x1200 display.

Hi Tom,
I'm running 2K but am not able to replicate this. Can you send me a screenshot?

Thanks,
Wilson.
Hi, Wilson:
I can confirm that the same error occurs when running under Windows-XP as well. My machine is an HP ZV6000; the screen resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels.

Hi Jerry,
Does this happen all the time or is it intermittant?
Thanks,
Wilson.
Hi, Wilson:
Yes, If I recall correctly, it acted like this prior to registering it as well. Fortunately, this type of error is just cosmetic and has not affected the functionality.

Hi Jerry & Tom,
What Windows Theme are you guys running?
Cheers,
Wilson.
Hi, Wilson:
I'm running "windows classic" (modified)
The modifications are minimal. I use a few railroad whistles as sounds and have a small locomotive on the desktop.

Hmmm... I'm running the same theme.....
I've sent this to Alex & we'll see what he says.
Cheers,
Wilson.

Wilson,
It is something about the theme. I was using a custom theme similar to Windows Standard.
Switching to Windows Classic fixed the problem, but it failed using Windows Standard. But after going between Windows standard and Classic a couple of times, it started working with both themes.
When I go back to my custom theme, it fails again and also again fails with Windows Standard, but not Windows Classic.
Sounds like someone has an uninitialized variable.
This is with Win2K sp4.

Running 2.5.044 on WinXP Pro SP2, Windows Classic, LCD at 1280X1024. Have the grayed out Go button with an inoperable text box covering Help button.
Well followed some advice and changed the appearance from Windows Classic to Windows XP and then back to Windows Classic and now everything is where it is suppose to be. Interesting.
Windows... ye canny whack it.
Cheers,
Wilson.
Just started up PGO and the help button was covered again. It has to do with the icon font you are using. Change the icon font and you can get the help button covered. Instead of Tahoma try Lucinda Sans Unicode at 8 if you are running a 19 inch LCD at 1280 x 1024. The go button has to be programed to change its position based on the icon font and size being used.
It is back. Needs to be added to the list of things to fix. :P
Hi Bill,
Its in the 'to do' list already but thats a good observation you've made so I'll add that too.
Cheers,
Wilson.
