Title: I can't get PGO to open!
Post by: AceHarddrive on February 18, 2004, 09:36:54 AM
I restarted my computer (twice), clicked on the PGO icon (several times) only to get the splash screen, then nothing.  I was almost done with the downloading, too.

Hi Tim,

What version are you running? Have you installed any new apps lately? A new browser perhaps?

Cheers,

Wilson.

I'm using the latest version.  No new apps or browsers.  It's been running fine up until this morning.

I just tried deleting PGO and reinstalling...no help there.
--------------------
Just tried a system restore...no help.  Tried another deletion/reinstallation.  This time, I got an error message:

Error during load yg_mr_dll
Error Information:  Index out of bounds

Wow... freaky...

Can you send me a screenshot of that?

Thanks,

Wilson.

The solution is to:

1. Uninstall PG Offline

2. Manually delete [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\PG Offline] from the registry.
You can use Start--> Run--> regedit to edit the registry.

3. Re-install PG Offline back to the same folder.

The cause of this problem is changed locales settings or corrupted registry settings.

Cheers,

Wilson.
