Title: moving groups between databases

I have a 90% database full message.
After reading i saw that there is a 2Gb limit, is that true???

I have no problem in creating several databases
with groups with similar topics. But..
i don't want to download all the messages again so can i
transfer groups between databases?

Just export the groups you want to move using instructions at http://www.pgoffline.com/tutorials.htm#SA

Then create a new database using File | New Database from the menu.

Then import the file you just exported to using File | Import From Folder.

After you're sure all has been moved successfully, go back to your original database, delete the groups you exported. Follow that with compacting the database, File | Compact Database.

thanks, this works!!

an option to just move them to another database
would be nice though.
