Title: No subject line after "undeletion"...
Post by: AceHarddrive on April 28, 2005, 05:11:32 AM
Is there any way to stick the subject back into a message after it has been deleted, then reuploaded (the subject line says "No subject")?

Hi Tim,

I just did a test. I deleted a message. Closed PGO, re-opened it, re-loaded the message, all is fine.

Can you tell me what group & what message(s)?

Thanks,

Wilson.

Sorry 'bout dat!  I went to the group (StraightRazorPlace) and checked the messages I had deleted in PGO against those on the board and found out that those that came out as "No Subject" actually had no subject to begin with!  Is there any way to insert a subject line for messages that don't have one or edit ones that do?

Hi Tim,

No, sorry. I decided against having an edit option. Too easy for unscrupulous people to edit the archive & then post it somewhere.

Cheers,

WIlson.

Okay, I can see where you're coming from.  What about (wishlist idea here) having the subject lines indented when sorting by subject (thread), as it is in Yahoo groups when you have the messages sorted by thread?

C'ya!
