Title: Control over the Subject Title when forwarding
Post by: wundrbee on February 25, 2005, 08:06:50 PM
Well, I can now forward from PGO again since I am using my ISP's outgoing server instead of Yahoo's. It would be nice if one could have some control over the subjet title when forwarding.

Another thing that would be nice is to have the option send the email in text only. I recently forwarded a series of tutorials that I'd posted in one art group to another art group. This yahoogroup was text only so the tutorials did not go through. I did a cut and paste into a new email and changed the email's format to text only and the email went through just fine.

Hi Tammi,

The mail client is a 3rd party bolt-on. I don't think we can change much in it. We did it this way because to develop a full mail client would have been a bigger job than writing PGO in the first place.

Sorry,

Wilson.

I guess that also means it's impossible to implement forwarding a selection as individual forwards, huh?? Come to think of it I don't think that is possible at all. I don't know of any program that can do that. Ah well, sometimes my brain jumps farther ahead than reality permits........:P

I think you can do it in Outlook.

No chance with PGO though.

Cheers,

Wilson.
