Title: Save Search Results Name
Post by: creativeway on December 23, 2004, 02:31:53 PM
Wilson,

When "Save Search Results" is checked and PGO asks for the Name to "Save As", it only allows characters, numbers and underscore. Is there a restriction in the language that PGO is written in that prevents it from accepting blank spaces in the Name?   :(
Be great to be able to use phrases with blank spaces in-between words in names of saved searches.

If you save a search result you're saving an MS Access table. I think this restriction may be to do with Access.

Cheers,

Wilson.

This is one reason why I limit databases to a few groups. When you select "Saved Search Results", only the results for the current database are shown. If you have a database with 10 groups in it, Search Results will show all the results for the 10 groups :(.
Also you could shorten "Saved Search Results" to just "Search Results" because you couldn't load or remove the results if they were not saved first. Afterall, you don't see "Open Saved"  ;).

Surely, only if you tick all of them to be searched. The default is that only the currently selected group will be selected for a search. Yes?
