Title: Invalid Page Format
Post by: swandro on May 26, 2004, 11:38:47 AM
Hi

I have just downloaded the program for the 30 day trial and I have updated it with the patch.  Every time I try to get the list of groups, I get the message "Invalid Page Format".  I have not succeeded in getting the list, even though I have tried a number of times.  Any thoughts?

Hi,

Can you email me a screen shot of this happening?

Thanks,

Wilson.

I forgot to mention that I can add the group manually, and still get messages. I just cannot get the groups list.

Rob,

Yahoo have changed the format of their site (something they do with annoying frequency). We are working on a new version of PGO to parse the new HTML they are using.

In the meantime you could try adding your groups manually.
Do Groups--> New Group and fill in the details as desired in Group Logon & Download Settings.

Cheers,

Wilson.

I tried setting up the group manually, but got this variation of what I've gotten since I installed pgoffline...

10/27/2004 12:21:53 AM >  Authorization started

Was downloading a batch last night OK - but got blocked. I can access the Group online by the web again but cannot download more messages or get my Group list. I have checked username and password which seems OK

Hi John,

Yahoo have changed message format & it is resulting in the error you are seeing. You will need to apply the latest patch:

http://www.pgoffline.com/groupmanager/pgpatch25024.exe

Wilson.
