Help!
PG Offline no longer logs into Yahoo Groups.
Version is 871 on Windows Vista

Error message:
Either you have the wrong username & password OR Yahoo is requesting that you update your current password. Please login to Yahoo groups with your browser to see if Yahoo are requesting that you update your password.

- I am already logged into Yahoo Groups in my browser and able to switch between groups
- Yahoo Two-step Verification is OFF
- 'Allow apps that use less secure sign-in' is ON
- PGO has the right password in each Settings: Group Logon

I notice that V871 spends a great deal of time Not Responding yet eating a lot of CPU. Don't know whether that's relevant?

Suggestions welcome, please. David

Hi David,

Be aware that the Master Login is only used as a default for setting new group login details.

Each group has its own set of login details set in Group Settings --> Group Logon.

Right click on the group name to see the Group Settings option.

Just wanted to thank you for the Group Settings tip. I ran into the same problem with a slightly new wrinkle - I got the same error. I could not download messages but files and photos were downloading. I followed your instructions, re-entered the same password under Group Settings and it is now working.

OK, just make sure you have the latest version which is 897.
