Hi All,

Here is the latest patch for the recent Yahoo format change:

http://www.pgoffline.com/groupmanager/pgpatch25031.exe

Version 2.5.31
- Official version with Yahoo March 2005 design changes implementation
- Fixed problem with groups list downloading
- Some parser enhancements were implemented
- Several problems with old groups format support were fixed

Hopefully this is the last for a while but I'm not holding my breath...

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi Wilson,
I downloaded yesterday the 2.5.031 and installed but was getting next error: Unable to establish a conecction with server, when trying to download a group. Both with Use Old Format checked and unchecked.

I reran the former patch, 25030 and I could download the messages.
Today I could get de message headers but not the texts too.
I reran the 2.5.031 but again the old error mesage: Unable to establish a connection
And I missing some fix??,
Roberto

Wilson,

This comment applies to 2.5.030, but you've locked that forum.

Running that version ran fine until this morning, when all messages dated after about 15:30 yesterday have subjects etc, but no contents.

Looks like another Yahoo change.

Yesterday all was fine with the new version.
But today I fetched new Yahooo messages and all was empty.
So probably they changed something AGAIN.
Are they on a crusade against offline tools ?
I'm hoping it can be fixed because PG Offline
really helps restoring Yahoo so it becomes bearable to
navigate the subject listings.
The format change really destroyed how a user can get
an overview of the posted messages. The new Yahoo layout is much slower to navigate.

Hi Gunnar,

Yes, Yahoo *have* changed format again. I expect that they will change it again quite soon as they attempt to 'polish' their design.

Cheers,

Wilson.
