Hi,

I'm trying to access messages from my old Yahoo group and as of last week, PG Offline has become unstable and crashes almost anytime I try to do something (search the messages, open a message.) It either freezes for a short period, then closes itself or it closes immediately.

A bit desperate. I can still access the Files and photos, but not sure if the message base has become corrupted, and I don't think it's backed up.

Please help, I've found the program really useful and was considering whether to get the similar facility for Facebook where we have moved.

I tried emailing the support address and got bounce notification saying the box is full.

Hi Leona,

  I fixed the mailbox issue yesterday. Can I ask you to resend your email as a test?

  The PGO problem sounds like an issue with your PC.

  What version of PGO do you have?  Maybe uninstall and re-install PGO ?

  Make a copy of the PGO folder first before uninstalling the program.

  You can find the PGO folder by starting PGO and choosing File-- Open data folder.

  Can you send me the .Net crash log? Please start windows Event Viewer and send me the data from the .NET Runtime error log.

It’s the second of the two reports event viewer creates for a crash.

Right click on the Error and choose “Save selected events”. 

The file saves as a .evtx file.   Please email it to me.



To access the Event Viewer in Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Server 2012 R2:

1.     Right click on the Start button and select Control Panel > System & Security and double-click Administrative tools
2.     Double-click Event Viewer
3.     Select the type of logs that you wish to review i.e. Application.


To access the Event Viewer in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012:

1.     Hover mouse over bottom left corner of desktop to make the Start button appear
2.     Right click on the Start button and select Control Panel > System Security and double-click Administrative Tools
3.     Double-click Event Viewer
4.     Select the type of logs that you wish to review i.e. Application.


To access the Event Viewer in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2:

1.     Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools
2.     Double-click Event Viewer
3.     Select the type of logs that you wish to review i.e. Application.
