Windows 7 bug?

I upgraded to Windows 7 a few days ago. I used Laplink's PC Mover Upgrade Edition to back up and restore all my programs. Most programs made the transition seamlessly. PGO was one that didn't.

It now reports that my trial version has expired. I entered the registration number and it tells me it is invalid. I entered the same one in the "get registration number" field and it tells me that the old number is invalid.

I'm lost and can't figure out how to get it to accept the number.

Is this a Windows 7 related bug?

Hi,

If you've got 3.0.82 or higher then, no its not Win7.

3.0.82 is Win7 certified.

I'll send you your registration details and you can check them.

Cheers,

Wilson.

Hi!

Tools which colect programs for restore might not restore lisences from crypted registry areas.
Look your number from the old copy a new install on the 7:n
If not available the Wilson might setup a new number for you.

The registration information I had stored was old. Wilson was able to help and I got it working again.

You're correct about restoring license information. It doesn't always work. But I'm back in business now.

Thanks!
