I would like to see a feature that would not only let me archive the whole database (exactly like it does now), but be able to archive by group or catagory and in volumes (and possibly be able to append volumes - although if you could save in volumes you wouldn't really need to append - just import all the volumes and export them all together).

Example 1. I could save the archives of the all about herbs group as allaboutherbs001.mdb, allaboutherbs002.mdb, and so on.

and / or

Example 2. I could archive all of my herb groups together by assigning a catagory like "herb groups" to all of my herb groups and exporting them all into one database i.e. herbgroups001.mdb, herbgroups002.mdb

Thanks for a wonderful proggie!

Tammi,

The way I organise my archives is like this... I save the archive file to named directories e.g.

http://www.pgoffline.com/pics/archives01.jpg

The named folders contain the archive file, e.g. my atlas-craftsman group contains this:

http://www.pgoffline.com/pics/archives02.jpg

I have a zip file version in there as well to share with friends.

If I wanted to put all my metalwork groups into one database, I could tick the ones I want in the Export function and export them to a directory called
E:/PGO-archives/metalwork

Then, if I really wanted, I could rename the ygrpack.mdb file to metalwork.mdb

I'd need to change it back to get it into PGO though :)

Cheers,

Wilson.

Wilson,

Thanks for the suggestions. Appearantly, my brain was in a funk :) Oh, well. Sometimes, I get so many things going at one time the obvious stuff escapes me.
