Providing bookmarks for each group

I have fall behind current message in each group and I'm chasing from different dates), so I would like to have a marker to point message where I left last time for each group (marking as read isn't good enough to me, I have to scroll several pages and sometimes I have ranges I already read out of secuence. Marking the last one as favorite doens't help  or  please tell me if this is already implemented,
