I would like to use multiple proxies to download msgs.

As it is, PGOffline uses the IE proxy, that is just fine. But to "defeat" the Yahoo blocks it would be great to be able to specify a list of proxies.

So when you detect that yahoo is blocking you, you could just "jump" to the next proxy.

Thanks, thats a good idea.

I'll add it to the development queue.

Cheers,

Could you explain what that means?  To set up 'multiple proxies', do you have to configure a firewall?  NAT is not good enough for that, or is it?

Rich

Scubaman,

You can have several proxies, like anomyzer or some others.

It doesn't necessary means that you have NAT.

I did an Anonymizer trial & it didn't work. Not with IE anyway. I thought maybe it was a cookies problem so I deleted those & my cache. Still didn't work. I thought it should've worked.

Another vote for multiple proxies/anonymizers.  As I understand it, an anonymizer is just a proxy server(?).  At least that's what it seems to be to me.  Anyway, another vote for that.  I keep getting cut off by Yahoo and this would be a great help.  Yes, I'm trying to keep my downloads/waits set so it doesn't happen.

Thanks,
Monte
